Statement from By-Laws:
THE MISSION STATEMENT of the East Texas Gardens, Arboretum and Conservation Corporation is to preserve and protect the clean air, clean water, good soil and nutrients, trees and abundance of living plants in the East Texas area. Also to enhance natural and native habitiat with a minimum amount of disruption and intrusion, and to build an entity that will reflect the grace of God for his creation that East Texas citizens enjoy and can help preserve.
The Longview Arboretum's umbrella organization (East Texas Gardens, Arboretum and Conservation Corporation) is a 501(c)3 organized and operated exclusively for non-profit purposes. Contributions to the Longview Arboretum are tax deductible.
