The Longview Arboretum is a long held wish for many people that
have been hard at work to bring Arboretum into existence. However,
to date it is still mostly a dream - but one that is becomming a reality.
We have the property and the design and planning is in progress. So
check back often to see the progress of the Longview Arboretum.

New Board President Announced!
The East Texas Gardens, Arboretum and Conservation Board of Directors welcomes Gaylon Butler as the
new Board President. Gaylon was elected at the January board meeting to complete LaRue Guice's unexpired term of President
New Committees Established
Other business from the January board meeting established two new committees: The Facilities Master Planning Committee chaired by
Bob Metzler, and the By-Laws Committee chaired by Mike Lewis
